The evening glow in the first one seems more pronounced. I just read about this mission in AZ Highways magazine - their 100th anniversary photo edition. I'd love to spend a long time in AZ - used to go to Mesa for work once a year and miss it...

It is a little dark, but I didn't want to "ruin" the golden sunset light. The light was changing by the second that afternoon, several seconds after this shot it was all gone. I was happy to catch it and the shadows when I did
I agree the mailboxes need to go, I just have to figure out how to do it in PS. A little straightening too...maybe!
Its a really neat place and still an active Catholic Church. I recommend stopping by if you can!
