I was planning on sticking with my copy of CS3 until either hell froze over or Adobe offered a more reasonable pricing scheme. It looks like the less likely of those two just happened

I tried to buy it but the Eligibility Link doesn't work.

Edit: Okay, it does but took 10 minutes to load on DSL... I too thought I'd never upgrade beyond CS3.

Just tried it and it didn't work. Talked to a representative and they said it was a mistaken posting.

Edit: Looks like they killed the deal sometime this morning. Congrats to those who got in on it!

i couldnt get it to work either. I also talked to a rep who said that the code will not work

Also looked into this. They apologized for the confusion and understood the frustration.

Poorly executed on Adobe's behalf.

If you're not a student or teacher then you are not complying with the terms of the license.

I guess I was lucky. The code worked, I got a receipt and I submitted my verification (professor).
