Trying my hand at HDR once again. Just snapped this one quickly with my D7000 & 24-70f2.8 while walking through the commons with my girlfriend on Sunday. Wasn't really trying to capture anything in particular, but after a little editing, I kind of like this one.
RAW shot converted to -4, -2, 0, 2, 4 exposures and then blended in Photomatix. Sharpened and slight adjustment of curves in PS Elements.

I do not know much about HDR, but I like the image a lot. Nice straight lines along the vertical edges, leading lines in the pavement drawing the eye in, and nice balance with the placement of the "State" sign. I like the "fixed" version better. Thanks for sharing.
Good job of reducing the haloing in the second edit. I like it much more than the first. +1 on the verticals drives me nuts when buildings look like they are falling over!
Nice shot. Really gives the feeling of being there! I definitely like the processing of 2 better. I have 2 images in the gallery very near where this shot was taken.
