I still would argue that you should at LEAST experiment with traditional development. You're going to get a LOT more control with it, and its not that much less convenient.
And while I too love the unorthodox combo of HP5+ in Rodinol, you may want to try out DD-X just as an alternative when you need more speed or less pronounced grain.
Different strokes for different folks. Me? I absolutely love them. I'm shooting and developing and scanning 35mm and MF and having a TON of fun. More power to you, Doug.
being 72 years of age I still like nice work that captured our hearts for many years,, I do like my 800E as the best cam I have owned but still will always enjoy seeing this type work,,
Love the dog shot. I dig you work in MF, (I especially remember that e session at churchill downs), but the tones and graininess in the first two don't work for me. It feels a bit washed out and grainy.
I really appreciate you sharing this us, though. very cool to see you working through things.
