This was taken about two weeks ago on the way home from my Bandon trip at Seal Rock. It is 3 shot Blend one for the foreground at ISO100 at f11, one for the sky ISO 100 at f11, and one for the water ISO 400 at F11 to get the right shutter speed for the waves and water. I also shifted my WB to Shade to warm up the picture it looked cooler than it felt when I was there. C and C always welcomed, Thanks for Looking,
Very nice Brian - I love the water sprays and the color in this one. The surf portion of the image more than makes up for not having a killer sunset above in my book. I like the layered look to the sea stacks in this as well.
I like this one - you always seem to post these too small though #3. The foreground seems a little noisy (the foreground rocks). But what do I know I am too detail oriented I guess.. You down for the Olympics on March 8-10?

Nice light and great wave action captured. Trying to figure out where is was taken in relation to Elephant Rock.
I wish I could help? Truth is usually my shots are my first time being somewhere. Elephant rock sounds familiar? I'm not sure if that was at Bandon or Seal Rocks? Oh well anyways to get here we parked north and hiked the beach for about a mile. Hope that helps

Nicely executed and great composition! Shows you don't need a great sunset for a great picture!
Do you mind sharing the exposure time for the water?

No problem I love between 1/8 and 1/10th of a second for splashes Its all on how you want it to Iook. I remember spending a whole day in San Diego playing around with shutter speeds I use different speeds for different situations Hope this helps
