This is most likely the most lovingly cared for D3s on the planet right now.
Literally! Brand new in the box Nikon D3s which has 646 actual clicks.
Trade for a D3x with a little more mileage.
This camera has never been outside! I bought it from B&H and put it in a cabinet.
Box, cam etc nary a speck of dust, wrinkle or any thing unpackaged.
Opened the box pulled out the D3s and never opened touched or molested any of the contents. This is as new as it was when it left the factory. Box and camera were stored in a climate controlled photography vault along with jewelry, guns etc.
If I had put the cam back in the box you would think it is brand new.
Thanks for looking. This has been so much fun .

I thought I would lob this over the fence as well. I have another D3s with less than 300 clicks sitting in a box if the 646 click one above is too worn out.
Maybe a nice discount as well if you buy both.

EXIF shows 268 total clicks.
"This camera sale is pending payment."
The actual camera in the pics above is available for trade for a mint D3x.
Thank you!
I know I am probably too anal about stuff! But I genuinely love keeping my things better than knew. Kind of like taking the packaging and box and placing them in a plastic tub and sealing them from any outside contaminant and dust and never opening the documents or straps or cables etc.
It just makes them that much more special not only for me but for the next guy as well.
Still thinking about trading one of these for a like condition D3x just so I can enjoy owning the worlds best camera systems.
Thank you

wow, you have some nice stuff sitting in boxes in the closet! glws on the other one..
Tom, could you post a photo of the closet? Inquiring minds want to know.
I bought a D3s from Tom a couple years ago and it looked like the plastic bag that held the camera hed been ironed to be sure there were no wrinkles, and I swear the box had been polished somehow. I am not kidding. Anal? nah....

Check out those bookshelf reference speakers.. built them myself and hand polished the cabinets.
And yes those are Vifa 1" tweeters. The bracing in the 1.5" thick cabinets took me two weeks to fabricate.
Crossovers were hand-built using Auric wire and Clarity capacitors.
The sound is sublime using vintage tube components.
268 clicks... that camera sounds familiar... Thanks much for the referral, if your ever in NYC stop in I'd like to buy you a drink. http://www.tonysnyc.com
Yes one left and I am going to kill thread as am somewhat overwhemed with the fun we have had and the response.
I have a trade deal I am going to work towards with my personal D3s picture above. PM box is crammed and will then read if necessary. Give us all something to read as we wait for 36 MP D800 and the future D4x.
Please understand if I am slow to respond.
Thank you.
