This is a high quality Gitzo aluminum 4-section tripod with center column. The center column can be replaced with a base plate (included, see picture below) so the legs can be spread to ground level. The collapsed length is 24 in. The hight without center column is ~58 in, ~70 in with center column fully extended. This is a very sturdy tripod that will last for years to come.
