My biggest complaint about my D7000 is the limited buffer, but if the D800 could basically do 5FPS all day long, I'll be sold! Though it isn't the machine gun I was hoping for. The more I analyze my needs, the more I realize I have to have a clean ISO 3200 (I'm a night photographer.) I'm sitting tight, waiting to see what else Nikon releases this Spring. It is possible that D400 could edge out D800 at higher ISO, and do it for half the price. Or, maybe Nikon will release yet another smaller, less expensive camera with the D3s sensor.
