Yeah, that guy is echte Nordholland. He ain't from Maastricht, that's for sure!

No offense Geert, but you completely missed Brian's initial irony As an anglo-speaker who is an eensy bit familiar with Nederlands, I found Brian's comment to be funny.

'Cause, ya know, the northern Dutch sound like drunken English pirates of the 17th century ;-)

So I didn't get the joke, big deal. He is not speaking Nothern Dutch, he is speaking Standard Dutch more or less. Northern Dutch would be Low Saxon or Frisian. Not that it is has anything to do with the hood of the 24-70 but you brought it up.

The hood definitely stinks, and I'm sure to be using a flag more often for the wide pans. I suspect that was part of the design compromise.
