Sounds like there may be some interesting challenges ahead. He brings up some decent points; however, I am not sure how much of it is hype and how much will actually be observed in everyday D800 operation.

Loyd likes to drive traffic to his site. With that being said he is one of the most knowledgeable people on the web that reviews gear. He not about charts he takes the camera and lenses into the field and really gives them a good torture test. He is pretty unbiased and shoots with a wide range of equipment from different manufacturers.
