So I just bought my first DSLR (60D) in October and am new here and on dp. I'm on a tight budget so I'm considering purchasing through the forum to try and save some money however I've run into the problem of being a "new guy". So what's the best way to establish credibility? Being so new I really don't have too much to contribute in posts, just maybe questions to ask and I'm not an eBay user so that doesn't help. I have bought accessories and a speedlight through Amazon and BH so I'm not sure if receipts help or not.

Also there are about 1/2 dozen posts on this same topic in this forum alone. Welcome and good luck! Receipts are great for sales and all packaging a plus.
Go out of your way to communicate with a seller/buyer. There are NO "givens" on the B&S forum but everyone started at zero!
