p.1 #1 · D3s vertical shutter release

I recently acquired a D3s (new) and cannot lock the vertical release button. The camera will fire with the locking collar in either position. Anyone else have this problem ?

Assuming your switch/lever is working, Push button & turn lever, mine locks just fine. No problems here.

The switch must be defective. Push the button, turn the lever. Camera still fires. Tried it with power on and off. Looks like a trip to service center.
