Not a leak, because they've been officially announced. They're on the Canon USA Web site, slated for release in June.

Wow, if that is the actual price, it is expensive. Much bigger jump compare to the 16-35 and 70-200.

It is similar to the superteles' price jump.
Maybe those new special UD glass elements are really, really, really expensive to make.

very very very impressed with nikon's latest offerings. but I'm content with canon so far! IQ is still great nonetheless. I probably won't upgrade until either one of my 5DII breaks lol. knock on wood

Heck, I had only a 20D (and then two of 'em) until two months ago, when I got a 7D. At that rate I probably won't upgrade again until the 5D Mark IV (or whatever it'll be called) comes out.
