From Canon, it states that the life of a 1D Mark II shutter is 200000 shots, so this one has used just over half, I'm pretty surprised about that because I expected it to be higher because I'm always shooting.
I know that to replace a shutter through Canon runs $225 (at least it was that much on my 5D) I also know that my photo editor had a Mark II with 350000 before he had to have it replaced.
