p.1 #1 · 7D Error 30.

My 7D keep keeps poping up with the Error 30 code, It's been doing it intermittently for the last couple weeks. I have been turning it off and removing the battery and reinserting it. That worked for awhile but now it seems to be happening more frequently and sometimes won't restart at all for an hour or so.

My understanding it is a shutter issue and I know it needs a trip to Canon. I have less then 30,000 clicks on this camera. Has anyone expirenced this error code and what was the bill from Canon for repair?

Any help would be much appricated.

I just had mine repaired for the same issue. Actually mine ended up being a power supply PCb issue. My bill was just about 200$.
