I have for sale my Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens (the original version). It quickly became my favorite lens in my collection, as it is very sharp wide open and the IS gave me a lot of flexibility, but recently I got the newer version of this lens and no longer have a need for it. I am the original owner, purchased new (US) from B&H in 2005. UV filter and RRS B86 lens plate have been on it since day 1, and the lens caps are brand new (from the new lens I got to replace this one). This lens is very clean overall. There is very minor paint rub in one of the grooves near the lens mount, and also underneath the tripod ring (hairline about 1" long). There are a couple of dust specks inside the lens but I have not found them to affect the image quality and performance. Front and rear elements are spotless, as is the weather gasket at the mount. The lens hood has some scuffs on the bottom side, and there is some velvety/velour-ish material missing in one spot near the top, as you can see in the picture.
