According to another thread in the People forum, someone is shooting with a lens prototype that is suppose to be released to the public on Valentines Day. Any ideas what it may be? Im hoping for a new 24-70 with IS but have absolutely no idea.

Im surprised there isn't more speculation concerning Canons supposed announcement of a new lens to the public on Valentines Day. One of FM's own is using the lens and because of the NDA can't talk about which one it is yet.( Read this on the people forum) My guess again is the new 24-70. Any other speculation? Doc
