I started with full frame. I more recently went to the 1D-series. I can't go back. It's not that I don't have other options, but the 1D has to be there.

Once you handle a 1 series there's not going back, the balance with heavy glass is so much better than using a non 1 body, the vertical grip, weather sealing, focusing and frame rate is unparallelled.

It could be all of it or nothing from that list , really, I am flexible, whatever gets the job done. I've tried it all...wish I had the "talent", that's not on your list.

Micro-adjustment is a good feature, I hate to send anything to Canon.

1 series. It is my bread and butter. I haven't ever felt I needed FF even if I own one.

Raw should be a given. Like a cama body being able to take a picture. If not RAW, then sensor cleaning is huge to me, then would say FF. If you gave me a FF can that did not shoot RAW, then I might as well take a rebel 300D with RAWthan a 5d without.

Video.

FF, 1.3 is still crop and I can live with that.
1 series, 5D AF is great
RAW I can process JPGs surprisingly well
I can use aperture priority
all of my lenses work well
I can clean my own sensor
VIDEO IS BEAUTIFUL
Flip out LCD, god no.

I started with a 1Ds when it was new then suffered with the softish, low-res 1D II and gave up on that crop style. After only 6 1Ds series bodies I'd not prefer any type other than FF 1 series or the Nikon D3/4 FX series. My 5D II was a horror to use, though IQ was fine.

1. Less than full frame seems like a waste of lens coverage, yet I do a lot of work (the majority right now) with 1.3 crop.
2. The 1 series is my preference now, and I would hate to give it up for 5D, 7D, etc. Still, it could be retired and replaced with something better. I could get used to a slightly lighter, slightly smaller form body, as long as it was durable and performed.
3. Giving up raw would be anathema, like shooting film and putting it in a machine that scanned it destructively during development (this was tried, before digital capture proved its mettle and began to shove film out of the mainstream). Shooting jpeg can give world class results, but I want to have every bit () of the original data recorded by the camera.
4. Love MA, but I could live without it, especially if it became unnecessary due to developments in AF tech or QC.
5. Self-cleaning is great, but I managed without it, and would rather give that up than several other things.
6. Video? I hardly use it. It's a terrific feature for those who make the best of it, but I could give it up in exchange for just about anything that helped shooting stills.
7. I miss the flip-out LCD that my G-1 has, and wouldn't mind having it on a contemporary compact and maybe one DSLR body too. Maybe if it became a rugged feature of a FF 1 series, raw shooting, DSLR with self-cleaning and MA, I would wonder how I ever lived without it for ground level shooting.

I started digital with D60 in 2002, then progressed to full frame 5D. This past year I "discovered" the affordable pleasure of older 1D models, with the 1DS2 being my favorite for now. But I also bought a 60D and G10 which I love, so I can't say that it's "1D or nothing" for me -- they are all great in their way. Looking forward to a 5D3 and/or G1X this year.

If I had my druthers, it would be a 1DX and 5D3 as my main camera bodies.

it was raw or 1d series for me...I think the 1d wins out. Not that I'm going to start shooting in jpg again though.

Um, FF, RAW and Manual Exposure. Heck I could do without the first at a push but not the latter two.
