For sale is my Nikon 14-24 f2.8 lens. I purchased this lens about 3 years ago. (I am looking for the receipt, but it's a bit of a moot point since the lens has been modified.) This lens has the Canon adapter on it and I have used it with perfection with a Canon 5D and 1Ds MkIII. Alas, I just have too much equipment and have mainly been shooting wildlife so this has to go.
The lens has been babied. The lens itself has clean glass (minus a little dust on the outside that can be cleared). The only marks on the body of the lens are scuff marks where the lens cover slides on and off (see pics). The lens cover has some marks on it as well.
The lens comes with the box, manual, bad, adapter instructions as well as the removed lens screw and wrench tool.
Price $1475, INCLUDES insured priority shipping and paypal fees. Pics:

This is an original Canon 2x I extender. I believe this is optically close to the 2x II design but without the weather sealing. This is a well loved copy but the glass is fine. I am planning on purchasing a II tele and thus am getting the MKIII version.
$95 shipped, insured and paypalled. Comes with adapter and case (as shown).

This is a perfectly good epson R1900 printer I've had for 3 years, but just never use. It is free to whoever comes to Irvine, Tustin or Newport Beach CA to pick it up. Comes with Box.
Yes it can. The lens comes with the removal wrench and the stop screw that needs to be put on as well as the instructions. It's pretty straight forward (I have no skill at this stuff and I got it installed... :>. The only downside is I don't have a Nikon body to test the lens. If someone wants to buy it, I will pay for return shipping if it doesn't work.
Does the lens report settings to the body (focal length, aperture)?
Do all functions work just like with a Canon lens? Changing aperture on the camera, autofocus, etc.
Also, why are you selling it if you don't mind saying?

The lens will be reported as the Nikon 14-24 when you shoot. You have to manually AF and manually set the aperture. You do get AF confirmation however so you don't have to 'guess' if you have something in focus. This generally isn't a problem anyway if you are shooting landscapes. To change the aperture, you turn the lens. The adaptor has marks for f2.8, f8 and f22 I believe. After you use it a few times, it's really easy and quick.
As I mention in the ad, I just have too much gear and I have been shooting wildlife. Thus, this lens is just sitting around. I also have some other purchases in mind and could use the cash for those. The IQ with this lens is fantastic.
This is a killer deal for both Canon and Nikon Full Frame shooter. I have exactly setup likes this one and worked very well for my 5Dmk2 and D700. The adapter itself cost 2-300 buck from 16.9 (easy to resale here in this B&S if you don't need it) take about 5 minutes to install or remove an adapter. This is a must lens for folk whom already pre-order D800, although this UW lens needs not an introduction.
