Up for sale is my Canon 1Ds Mark II. This camera is in very good condition. I replaced the shutter on this camera in July 2010, and since then I've taken about 7,000 pictures with it. The sale includes the body cap, 2 batteries, charger, DC coupler, a few chords and the box. See the link to my website below for more detailed pictures of the camera and sample photos taken with it. Continental US sales only. I have purchased and sold several high end items both here and on POTN. Please check my feedback on either site (my member name on POTN is hiker99 as well.) If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Final price drop to $1600. If no one snatches up this deal within the next week or so I will just end up keeping it.
This kind of low pricing on a 1Ds II is killing me. Though I've said many times over in these forums that I'd never part with my 1Ds II, I've been seriously thinking of getting the new 1Dx and selling it ... but, boy, would I hate to have to compete with a price like this! $1,600 is like stealing one of these babies. I'm absolutely amazed no one has grabbed it.
The new 1Dx has features and a frame rate that I appreciate and will make use of, but I strongly doubt its IQ will be any better (nor any worse) than the 1Ds II, one of the great cameras of all time from ANY manufacturer. In fact, on second thought, maybe I'll just keep mine.

Electronics depreciate and any personal opinions or sentimental value is not reflected in used prices.
Easy for you ro say. You're probably not selling one. Besides, 1Ds IIs in really good shape are going for around $2k these days, even a little more. This one at $1,600 is really, really low. That's what I was commenting on,

With the 1Dx out... these will drop even further... Its just how it is... I've lost plenty of money selling used digital cameras... They all drop. And when they are a couple of generations behind... even more so. I paid 1900 for a mint 1DsII last summer... so 1600 now isn't completely out of the question... With that said... Great deal!
