A great image Peter. The BG is to die for. Well done.
Thank you, Ken.....some scenes require no effort, they are just there.....kinda given. All one has to do is point and shoot, and take the image straight out of camera.

The bg really makes the GE special, Peter. Though thinking about hand-holding the 800L makes my shoulders hurt.

Thank you, Steve. Indeed, holding 800L for a couple of hours, waiting for something to show up, is tiring on me as well. However, if anything, 400 f/2.8 is even more punishing on the old body.
What a moody shot...you know exactly what I mean...the gentle ripple behind the rear leg, the subtle background highlights. I can imagine being being on little boat or on the bank observing this scene.

Wow Peter! Beautiful shot! Just like a well thought out painting with magnificent colors scheme. I love the vertical colorful back ground inter-mingles with the horizontal, colorful mirror lake. Of course, the subject is the main drawing focus point, with awesome reflection. Great work, especially handholding that 800mm beast!
