I think its pretty good, I shot 325 youth basketball action shots tonight from under the hoop with a 5D mark 2 and 35L all at 1.4, and I deleted 70 that were oof.

and I never looked through the viewfinder once.

Show them. Imo its nearly impossible to shoot anything with a 35mm out of fiocus. :-)

I don't think I've ever seen someone complain about the center point, it does quite well.

Agreed...center point is very good. I like it in servo AF too (even more so with the assist points active).

It even works with an extender… 5D classic + EF 300 f/4 IS + EX 1.4II, of course this was not a fast moving object, butt…

how do we know you were closer then MFD? so no matter the focus point it will be out of focus.
