A fantastic experience. Walking a short way down the spine of this place, the way the street twisted.

Comments appreciated, thanks for looking.

Looks like you had a great walk. I wish I could have gone along with my DMC-L1, that has stopped working a year ago. I used use it all the time, but it keeps giving me an error message with the cards now.
Oh, well......
Yeah, I love that camera. Mine still works but the zoom does not work, stuck in wide angle. The Leica kit lens is beautiful, and the camera looks soooo cool.

My kind of travel, Greg. I love this kind of stuff.
Even though the streets are narrow, sometimes a wider view shows the narrowness more than a narrow view. Sounds contradictory though.

Thanks Tim, Charlie and Ray for your comments.
What I left out of the description is that we were on a 5 or 6 mile hike along the trail that connects the 5 towns. From Vernazza south we saw Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, all different and amazing. Corniglia is the only one that does not connect directly with the ocean.
That is interesting you say that Charlie, and I totally agree. I find myself going horizontal in a narrow space quite a bit (deny the vertical!), but I spent a lot of time in Italy embracing the vertical.
