Went out this morning to find the LS and spotted him at the usual spot. On the way back to the car, I spot it again but his time he had his catch impaled on a branch. It's pretty cool to witness this behavior.

Super work Quang, and to witness The Butcher Bird in action is really special. The bg in #2 is mighty fine, too. I'll be going down there on Satuday with some birder friends so hopefully the LS will show up for us as I've been telling them about 'em

@ Tim, yes, he is one famous bird at BC now.
@ Steve, You shouldn't have any trouble finding it. I was there around 8:30am and it was along the fence catching bugs for about an hour and flew off. Found it again on my way back to the interpretive center.
