Great series... Mighty impressive looking horns. Must have been fun traipsing through the snow and getting close to these great looking sheep.

We did have a good time and came away with some cold feet

Tim, very well done.
The pair perched on a mound I like best.
( The last portrait feels just a little bit awkwardly framed, probably the horns are big and hard to fit in ,can't suggest any alternatives because I don't know what you got for the full frame. You may also wish to get rid of that onion ring highlite on top of the frame.)
Thanks for the good words and thoughts Peter. I do agree about the bright spot, I did try to tone it down some, I that is what gave it the onion effect
You did a fine job, as usual, exposing these, Tim. The patches of warm colors on the snow add a pleasant touch to the white bg and to the image as a whole.
The soft light works well on the bighorns fur, bring out the fine detail with a natural looking sharpness.
3 and 4 are my favorites, but I really enjoyed the whole set

A subject we don't see that often from you Tim.
Can't have been easy lugging the 800 up to where these guys were.
I see you brought the 70-300 along too. How are you finding this lens?
Great set of which the King and Queen are naturally tops followed by the last one with the one straw chewer up close

Sweet set Tim, man o man you are starting the year with some great subjects. Like them all, but #2,3, 4 and 5 are my picks. One day I'd like to get to see them.
