Headed out with Larry on Saturday looking for Bighorns. He was gracious enough to show me some hot spots that I didn't know about. The day was cold, snowy and the light wasn't the best but we sure did have a great time!
Tim, very well done.
The pair perched on a mound I like best.
( The last portrait feels just a little bit awkwardly framed, probably the horns are big and hard to fit in ,can't suggest any alternatives because I don't know what you got for the full frame. You may also wish to get rid of that onion ring highlite on top of the frame.)
Great set my friend! We sure did have a great time, I'll throw some of mine up later today or tomorrow
I sure learned a lot about shooting dark animals in the Snow, will need to compensate a bit more next time on the darker side..
I really like all of these but I think the first one, the muncher and the King and Queen are the faves for me..

You may also wish to get rid of that onion ring highlite on top of the frame. Now that's a first!
Would love to have seen that last one more on the side of the head showing off one of those wild big bulging eyeballs!
#3 and #4 are my picks. When I photograph deer it seems odd to me after concentrating on smaller subjects for so long. Another learning curve to work in on the big game animals. These must be incredible to be around! A nice set Tim and in good company
Nice shots Tim. I'm checking out your focal lengths, bet you are glad you brought some back up to the 800, your stalking skills really got you close here!
The running ewe in #1 is neat and the ram in #2 looks like he is on a mission. Good stuff!
