I have a bowl like this, and was doing to do the same kind of thing, but when the bowl was almost full, I realized that screw-type tops weren't that photogenic .
And the wine boxes were even worse.

Charlie, I'm not even going to dignify your screw tops and boxes with a response. I'm just going to call the Willamette Valley Vineyard Association and have them send you a few cases to set you straight!
I have a cousin who has been putting a penny in a very large jar for years now each time he and his wife ....um...you know...! Wine corks work well, too, I suppose!
This is a fabulous photo in terms of simplicity of subject with lighting. Really, really well done, I'd say.

Thanks Tim, but considering this is about five years of collecting corks, I doubt my wife would be very happy with me if this was....well, you know.
