I really like #1, #3, and #4, Martin. Shooting with snow is tough but you did an excellent job. You do realize that most people would have let you take the starling back to England on your way to Switzerland.

Great shots Martin, especially like number 1 and 4
After trying to do some shots in the snow yesterday, I have a whole new appreciation for what it takes to get good images, my hat is off to you!

Drill a hole and jump in! Seems silly do drill holes in ice
#1 so interesting on how my mind sees it, first a burst of color then an appreciation for patterns. Nice subtle colors and a great exposure Martin on the Chickadee.
Good looking 'Junc'!
I like the depth and feel of this shot down low, neat one
Nice stretch shot of the contrasty Starling, good looking darks.
Take care

I find this to be a super set Martin. The color of the perch in the first really extenuates what would be a monochromatic shot. The bird is nice and sharp from tip to tail. What a beauty! Juncos are a winter favorite, this is a fine example of one. The second Chickadee is another beauty, love the pose! Heck Martin you even managed to make the Starling look good!!! Drilling holes in the ice, well looking at that one just makes my toes numb!
Martin, nice Ottawa set of little ones.
I really like #1 and 4 here. Great exposer in the first image.
#3 looks very cute and very cold. Nice one.

Nice looking set, Martin. The balance of the comp in the first is outstanding. That stretching starling is quite a shot. Very unusual pose with great details -
I REALLY like the comp of #3 Chickadee, Martin; it has a spare, elegant simplicity to it. But yes, PLEASE take the Starling back with you when you return to the Continent! It ain't called a EUROPEAN Starling for nothing...
