I really like this one. The tones and textures are wonderful and I like the nice added feature of the electric light on the very old house.

I like the high structure you did in post. It first really well with the stucco exterior of the building.

. Are you counting in metric?

About the pic- I really like it. The seeing, the composition and perspective, the processing, and the subject- "Right on!" (That's the way "with it" guys used to talk.)
The older I get, the more I appreciate that in Europe things aren't torn down just because they're old

Apart from the number of pots and stairs, Charlie, you're spot on. The doorstep isn't a stair and there really are 6 pots

Apologies. Sometimes I'm a real dullard, Santiago. I blame my parents- and my older brother who bounced me on my head like a basketball when I was young.
Man, did I miscount the number of pots! Six, yes I see six of them

But out west we call them thar outside steps like that "steps." And out west there are seven of them

I'll shut up now and go out to my garden and eat some worms.

Thank you essphoto. There was quite some lassoing, feathering and Curves adjustment layers to bring the wall's roughcast to where I wanted.

Well, there are 6 pots and six stairs (the seventh belongs to the ground floor so I didn't include that one). I do count in metric, even though Switzerland had its own units way back, like the federal pot (2/3 fed pot = 1 liter) or the federal foot (divided in 10 inches of 3cm).

As for stairs and steps, it's always been a confusing issue for me, which one should I use. Especially now, image-googling "step" shows me people working out on a rigid and/or stair ?
