No, I don't smoke. Yes, I love pizza. No, I haven't run in ages. Yes, I'm planning my great comeback.
I see that I needed more depth of field for this one, but oh well. Sometimes a shot is just for fun and sharing; not a serious great art attempt! We gotta keep our childlike silliness for sanity, I say.
My Facebook friends here will agree the color version is better, but my FM comaraderie is mainly here on B/W, so what the heck.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
Tim, this is wonderful!
More DOF? Maybe, but it works awfully well this way.
Is that one of those fancy ball-point pen cigarettes with a "holder?" If so, I'm pretty sure it isn't carcinogenic- as long as you don't actually get the plastic to burn .
Great fun. Great shot.
Charlie
Thanks, Klaus, Charlie, and Santiago!
Charlie, that's one of those e-cigs, or vapor cigs, I got for this shot.
I'm building up an arsenal of props these days!
Again, I love the shot. I liked the color as well. BTW, if you don't have to kill me, how do you set up the self portrait shots? Timer, or remote? Your grunge recipe is so vivid.
Tim, I did receive a remote for Christmas which has been an absolute joy and totally upped my keeper rate on macro shots, but for my self-portrait series I use a timer. 10 seconds to get in place and pose! I use a lot of tonal adjustment for the cartoonish look for the most part.
Your trademark style returns! Welcome Baaaaaackkkk!
Yes on more DOF. And no, it doesnt make much of a difference because so much else is so effectively right.
Fine work, Tim!
Now bring in the mutants!
Thanks, Greg and Scott!
Pizza is our friend indeed!
And Scott, I actually have a shot planned with the mutant and a humor theme, but it's in a very public place, and I need to time it right with traffic... (teaser!) Now the recent dump of snow put the shot off for awhile, too.
