These were shot last summer on vacation in TN and SC, they were shot with Canon's 300/4 IS and 400/4.5. I used various extension tubes and most were handheld. The jpeg compression is a bit heavy, they are some of my favorite desktop photos. Both lenses were rentals, so I did not have a lot of time to use them. I will have to have a 300/4 IS!

I used extension tubes with the 400/5.6L and 300/4.0L. I have been using tubes with tele's since the days of FD/FL. I hope to acquire one of the above this winter and a set of Kenko tubes, really looking forward to the idea.
BTW, I really love the look of the little red fungi. I spotted it from about 15 feet away!
