Lol that's awesome there's not a thing wrong with that beautiful owl, captured in its
natural surroundings in a nice panorama feature I'm sure you will be able to get a closer
shot just hang in there itl happen!

You see, a part of the problem is that I am cursed by a bunch of disorganized amateurs I shoot with. You'd think that anyone would remember to bring along some mice, a squirl or two, a rodent slingshot, an industrial air siren, petards and similar neccessary accessories of serious owl photography ? Of course not.
Even a fellow who is our designated bird flusher (no fence has ever stopped him) failed to show up......probably slept in.
The only thing we had was an IPhone with some wildlife calls on it. Alas, playing the sqirl-in-distress call had no effect on the owl whatsoever.

Now it appears everyone was shy so I'll just say it, There comes a time when you have to use a little longer lens than that 24mm you so love.
