Of course there are, and I'm sure lots of you have excellent suggestions.
I will be in Anaheim for 5 days in late March for a bit of a vacation. There's a good chance I'll be taking in the wildlife refuge known as Disney Land (need to shoot the giant rodents that are rumored to frequent the place), but aside from that I am hoping there are other opportunities in the region.
Bolsa Chica looks interesting. Looks like a fairly big area to cover. Rental car needed? Specific areas to key in on? Any other must see parks or areas for the time of year I'll be there?
Whether via a post here or a PM, any information offered will be appreciated.
And for your viewing pleasure, a couple of images from my 2010 road trip to San Fran:
Contained Nature - The Academy of Sciences hosts a variety of top notch exhibits, including this rain forest in really big terrarium. Once a month admission is free. The line up was incredible, but the attraction was well worth the wait.
Yosemite Pine & Granite - Taken on Tiaga Road, this image is one of many amazing scenes that caused frequent stops as we headed east towards Nevada.
Both pics taken with T1i and standard kit zoom. C&C also welcome along with any tips for the Anaheim area.
Thank you!!
Ken
