p.1 #1 · best & quickest way to trigger a 1Ds mk3?

hi all

I have a 1ds mk3

I can trigger it remotely with pocketwizard, with a flextt5 on top with a cable connected, and triggering it by a minitt

BUT - it's slow. there a bit of a lag behind not only taking a photo but especially taking the next photo. I really want something fast

To make matters worse sometimes it doesnt take a photo at all and i have to reset everything!

Can anyone recommend a solution? cost is not a issue.

Do you need to go wireless or would a wired solution work?

I'm amazed that the pw is slow and laggy.
Whenever you see unattended remotes at sports events like behind the goals at football matches (soccer) they all seem to have pw's on them . I'm sure if they were to laggy the operators would have thrown them away and found something better.

I guess the ones I'm talking about are the older non ETTL system. So possibly it's faster than the flex syste,?

these are the new ettl ones

i might email pw then

these ones are a huge pain. they work fine for wireless flash but remote trigger of a camera is very laggy

the yongnuo rf-602 flash trigger works well for remote shutter. includes half-press, quick response. make sure you get the unit with the correct shutter release cable.

cost is very low.

I've used PW Plus II's & CyberSyncs and thought they were very fast with barely any lag.
