It works for me.. Love the leading lines, repetition of the rock formations and the brilliance of the lighthouse..

I agree with the others, Conrad- an excellent image.
I wish the only bright light was from the lighthouse, though. The even brighter light from the parking lot sorta bugs me. Unless it's the sun- but I doubt that according to the overall scene.

Superb in every way. All the necessary elements come together seamlessly.
I'd print this one very large and hang it in a prominent place.

I too have seen to color version but this conversion is stellar.
