Thanks everyone, good to be back.

Brian - that's a Planthopper, Zoraida sp., family derbidae. There are apparently 40 species in australia. So far, I've found 2.

Trying to get the beetle ID'd at the moment.

re: #3 - i think it's a type of robber, different to the usual ones i encounter that perch on top of plants, these are more fly like if you know what i mean
