Hi all. I've been lurking around here since 2009, but never dared to post anything. I guess, after seeing all the amazing photos posted here, I didn't want to show any of my terrible shots to anyone. Well, I need to learn, so I need to post..
These shots were taken with a Canon 7D and the 24-70mm f/2.8L, natural light, in the middle of the day. All shots hand held. I took these back in 2010. C & C appreciated.
Congrats on moving from lurker to poster Hoang! No need to worry about the image quality as there are some lovely shots there, particularly #4. Great pose and beautiful background on that one! Last shot looks great too, but seems like it could use a little boost in contrast.

Look forward to seeing more shots!
Thanks! I'm not very good with post editing of pictures. But sure, I'll try to boost up the contrast a little in that last pic and see how it looks like. Thanks!

Thanks Birdie! I've seen some of your photos. They're really good! Birds have been too hard for me to catch with my 24-70mm (I do own a 70-200mm now.. but I still can't catch any)

Thank you for your comment Phil! Yes, I know 2 & 3 have quite distracting backgrounds, but I thought the colors were pretty In 3, I liked that the wings had similar shape with the plant in the background, or maybe I'm the only one thinking that way Yes, will post some more later on. Thanks.

Should have "come out" earlier- lovely set of shots. Suspect you were shooting into the sun a bit in the last 3 shots - a lens hood may have helped with those.

Hi Brian! Why it took me so long to post? You are one of the reasons! I've seen many of your photos, and it scared me (how bad mine were compared to yours)
I usually always use my lens hood when shooting. I'm not sure how I managed to get that light into my lens. Thanks Brian
