Does anybody remember what 1D maximum card capacity is ? It works fine with 1 or 2GB cards, but displays 'CF card error' with 4, so it looks like it only uses FAT-16 filesystem - does this sound right ?
But there is a workaround to get 4 gig to work .
I cant remember it fully but
you have to use a PC to formt the card with a different cluster size. then you use it in the camera WITHOUT formating in camera. If you do format in camera then your locked to 2 gig. I did that and it was a reall faf to get back to 4 gig. Basicly pc format still had 2 gig. I had to find a utility that fully formated the card.
