Thanks. Messing around with my old azz 20d and even older 50 1.8 Mk. 1. I don't know what subjects I should use the 50 for...it is so wide on the crop sensor.

It would be even wider on a full-frame camera.

I typed that completely wrong. It isn't wide on a crop sensor. It has great contrast and IQ. But I have a tough time composing/framing a shot with it.

My favorite portrait lens on a 1.6 body.

I like the EF-S 60 Macro and the 100L IS Macro, but the 50 is right up there as well.
