I opened up Lightroom, searched for all my photos from 2011, and then looked at the number of photos from each lens. Looks like I shot my 135L about 43% of the time. Second most was the 50L at around 22%.
Fun topic for a thread. I went back and looked through 2011.
#1 by a fair margin is the 500/4L. I bought it this year and enjoy birding, plus tend to come back with a lot of pictures when I go on a bird trip (even after deleting the bad ones).
#2 is "50mm" which I am thinking has to be my Planar ZE, since it does not report its name on the 1Ds2.
#3 is "35mm" which appears to be the Tokina 35/2.8 macro on the 7D.
Far, far behind are the 100-400 and 24-105.
Definitely not what I would have guessed myself! I keep thinking I am not into the "normal" focal length but clearly I am deceiving myself.
