I am willing to split up the lens and the body now. Body: $175, lens $225. Price for both dropped to $350 shipped.

I received this camera directly from Panasonic on 5/10/11 so it's less than 1 year old. It's a very rare version in pearl white. This is not the cheap version with the crappy zoom lens. The pancake lens is very highly rated and is very sharp.

It's in overall good condition, everything is functional. There are some very faint scratches on the screen, only viewable at an angle. The shot I took was taken with macro lens with flash and the screen turned off to exaggerate it. There is also a small rash in one corner where the flash is. You can see it in the pictures and it's also very small. Other than that, the camera sat inside the leather case all the time (3rd party but works very well). The kit is complete with charger, battery, CD, books, cables, and straps.

The pancake lens is new, I never used it. At the same time I bought a 20mm f/1.7 and had that on the camera most of the time, and the 14mm stayed in the box. The rest of the time I use the 45mm macro, which I also highly recommend.

I am switching over to Olympus E-PL3 so I can get the Olympus underwater housing. I just dropped over $3000 in the setup, so have no use in this kit anymore. I am keeping the Panasonic 45mm macro and the 20mm f/1.7 for now to see how well they play on the E-PL3.

I actually am one of those who like the touch screen a lot. It's not as sensitive as an iPhone, but it works. I especially like the touch shutter because I can point to one area on the live-view and immediately the camera will focus there and click. This is especially useful if you need to act fast to take pictures. Also, the auto zoom feature when you are on manual focus is also a blessing. I used Contax G lenses and Leica M lenses on this body, and the results are mighty good. From an accuracy perspective, I almost never get a bad focus. I have shot some video with those lenses and the results are great! (It's not the best ergonomics for such work though.)

I am writing a lot about this camera because I am somewhat attached. I travel a lot and ended up taking this with me all the time. I used to travel with D700, got tired of the weight and bought a D7000, still didn't like the weight so I got this camera and settled on it. D700 now is for special purposes only, and D7000 lasted one trip only. I think m4/3 is the best balance for weight and performance and there are many good lenses for it. That's why I am sticking to m4/3 but only changing the body because of the underwater housing bonus.

$350 shipped, excluding payment fees if any.

FYI- your picture shows the Panasonic 14mm pancake, not the 17mm (which is an Olympus lens).
