Looking at upgrading my aged printer for a dedicated photo printer, the Canon is in the running because of the legacy of Canon equipment (and content) at my end. That and what appears to be excellent colour and B&W output.
But this border issue - if still an issue - kind of turns me off.
What 'is' the current status of that and are there foolproof methods of circumventing to allow borderless printing on art paper?
I don't think there are any workarounds...that is why I went for the R2880..and because it is a fair bit cheaper in the UK.
I do have the Canon Pro9000 and it is great...I actually have two Canon printers and the output from both is excellent. So is that from the R2880......
PS No border issues at all with the Pro9000 and satin paper......which is what I use.
