you do not want to support your camera/lens from your your flash mount. it was not designed to be torque loaded and carry more then minimal items like a flash unit. no ability to balance the load with that config. looks like something that resulted from not thinking
That's nutty to swing around a heavy DSLR with an 'L' lens from the hot shoe...I'm sorry, did I say "nutty"...I meant insane!
You'd be MUCH better off with something like this.
"skeered" ain't your problem. there are simply better more intelligently designed products out there already that will outperform this within a reasonable pricing range
I purchased an Opteka X-Grip since I'm not all that confident that this venture will fund. Save your money! What a cheap piece of junk that thing is. Super flexy, and with an L Bracket on my camera, and I can't fit my fingers between my camera and the handle.
