p.1 #1 · Problem saving file in PS

Hi,

I have been working on a digital painting file for about two hours. I just tried to save it and got a message that I cannot save this because of a disk error. Anyone know how I can fix this problem without losing my work here?

I am in CS5 and am on a Mac.

you dont hvae a flash drive or another drive you can plug in and do a Save As... ?

Howard,

I have two external hard drives connected to my Mac hard drive. I just saved as, as you suggested on to the other hard drive. It looks like it saved it with my work intact. However, when I go to copy it in Bridge to place it into my painting folder I get a message that states: An error occurred during the copy operation. Some files may not have been processed. I cannot copy files in Bridge.

I also would like to know what the problem is. Is my other hard drive at fault? Is CS5 or Bridge the problem?

Any help will be appreciated.

Copy the file using Finder and see if that works.

Thanks for the response. I shut everything down last night and turned it on this morning. Everything seems to be functioning fine. Probably just one of those things. Hopefully, I will not continue to have the problem. We shall see.
