You can never have too many cameras? It's small enough for a pocket and better than my iphone so I imagine it will get some use. Great camera to leave in the car for spontaneous stuff.
Dang, bought one too. And I'm not a fan of P&S cameras. Just too cheap to pass up. They must of had too much inventory and trying to clear it out before Christmas and when the S100s start selling strong. The S95 is a nice camera as far as P&S go. I like the little ring thing on the lens to adjust stuff.
I almost bought. Instead of losing $230, I lost about 20 minutes thinking about it. I decided that I didn't need a camera to cover the ground between my iphone 4s and my 5d. It was tempting though...
had one, but sold it (got it on CL for $200 in mint condition), sold it for a nice profit
reason for sale? my Droid
no, it doesn't take better pix than the s95, but the PS was to be my "always with me" camera. I always have my phone and it takes really decent pictures (actually quite nice given enough light)
just didn't want or need another thing to carry around. If I didn't have the Droid, I would definitely have kept the s95
I took advantage of this deal and ordered one. I just so happened to get the email from Amazon about 6am on Monday about 15 minutes before I went to bed. I forgot that I placed the order and didn't realize it until Monday evening when I got the confirmation that it had shipped! Supposed to be here today, I look forward to seeing just how good it is. After tax it came to $242.XX, a pretty damn good deal for a brand new S95.

I thought that might happen to me but the little Canon in RAW mode whips my iPhone 4S silly. And, although great as far as phone cameras go, it's terrible compared to the S95 in terms of even the most basic image control. And I really miss real fill flash. the wee and bluish LED just doesn't cut it. So the iPhone is used for recording boring crap and emergencies and the S95 for actual printable photos...
I had a G10 and sold it because of my Droid. The G10 isn't as portable as the S95, and it was more expensive too. I figure if I don't use the S95 much I can sell it for at least what I have into it.
