I have been fooling around with my new D3s' video capabilities. It says that I can record 5 minute clips, but I keep running into random pauses where it gives me a message of something like "video interrupted". After a few seconds the message goes away and I can start the recording video again. It seems to occur at random times but always well before 5 minutes is up.
before you jump on the possible camera issue see if anyone you know has say a lexar or sandisk equivelent. eliminate the outside possibility.
make sure you have the most update firmware too.
Thanks for the replies. I think I figured out that it is probably a card issue. Even though this Kingston is supposed to be a Formula 1 car it seems it is only a Yugo. Bummer...
I just got off the phone with Nikon/Kingston. First Kingston is not an officially supported card only Lexar/Sandisk. Also D3s only supports up to 16 GB. All stuff I should have known had I read the manuals. But who reads the manuals?
I just ordered a couple of Lexar 16 GB 600x cards. That better improve the situation!
