The "hole" at the top left (can't remember the name) tells me it's a boat. Odd name for a boat.
About the pic: the coarseness of your processing works for me very well.
But- as you'd guess- not in the sky .

the coarseness in the boat was in the boat itself, as - I guess - they had been scrubbing the beast.
I did nothing to the sky! it was just a strange formation.

Great work, Tom. I've really come to enjoy the solar look since studying a bit more after seeing your published works.
It is definitely a medium which is very specific to certain subjects which will lend themselves to it, and you seem to have grasped this.
I look forward to trying more of it myself when I get time to shoot things other than all the portraits and people events of late!
