Looks like a lens, yes, but the technical details are very explicit: Canon 1D Mark IV! (I suspect the Canon body is cleverly hidden behind this lens, so it is difficult to see in the ad.)

The lens hood looks too small compared to the lens.

Not so sure about that 1D IV -- look at the rating. Only one star. Why buy junk, even if the price looks great.

OTOH, check out this fine 1D II. Yes, the price is higher, but that rating is outstanding.

Really? Aw. . . I know a part of me hopes that the 1D IV will show up, too.

Enquiring minds want answers: Is the seller legit? This wouldn't be the first time Wall St. has been associated with questionable practices. Maybe this will be the time that they gain genuine credibilty when I post my positive feedback and everyone at FM knows how great they are. I smell Holiday Miracle!

The majority of the ad features title and specifications of the Canon 1D IV body, both above the photos and in the technical description below it. I can only surmise they posted the wrong photos, and I forgive them for that. They shouldn't have put the Nikon photo in there!

The price is awesome, amazing.

(But for $159, I'm willing to go through the heartbreak, get my money back, and file bad feedback. Come on, it's the holidays already!)

Keith -- Yeah! You go for it!

Let's compare notes as the we get tracking info and final delivery. Won't everyone be sad when we get our new (they are new, right?) 1D IV bodies.

The seller enters a product code and Amazon supplies the photo and description. This can be very frustrating for sellers, the wrong photo or the wrong description costs them money. It can be difficult to get Amazon to correct it.

Send a complaint to Amazon, and maybe they will change the description.

Amazon A-Z guarantee can be a crap shoot. I work for a company that sells items on there and sometimes customers will have the most ridiculous complaint and Amazon will just refund them with no recourse for us.

Amazon does also screw up with listings.
