p.1 #1 · Best Wide Angle for Canon 35mm?

Hello! I am looking to get a wide angle lens for my 5D Classic. I'm not pouring out money, because I'm only 15, but I want to know, could I get any recommendations? Which do you think is better considering price:

Canon 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Canon 17-40mm f/4L
Sigma 12-24mm f/3.5-4.5

Could you recommend any others?

Thanks a bunch!

Brock

Had the 20-35 years ago, never had love for it.
then had the sigma, again a nice tool and wide. but again didnt find love with her either.
had a 17-40L and loved it dearly, sharp crisp and great colour as u would expect from an L lens. i sold her as she saw little use. then decided my love was with the Nikon 14-24 2.8, now i am in wedded bliss.

But for your budget, the 17-40 is a no brainer, unless you need 36mm or 16mm

Tamron 17-35 f2.8-4 is probably worth a look at, nice and cheap second hand.

An EF 24mm f/2.8 is not a bad lens and it's relatively inexpensive. I use it on my 5D and I like it.

The Canon 17 to 40 f4 L is a nice range to have on a full frame, as long as you can live with the f4, and do not need to go wider. If you can find a nice used one, it is a very reasonable way to get in to Canon L glass.

I like the Tamron 28-75/2.8 on the 5d and 7d, wide open or at f/4.
