Been using it on guns for years, works great on camera gear too. Doesn't leave a residue, it's washable, and re-usable. 1 roll covered a (Nikon) 35mm 1.8 w/hood, 70-300VR w/hood, 18-200 w/hood, a monopod and 2 flashlights with about a foot left over.
You can buy the same thing under the 3M brand "Coban" at drug stores and Sports Authority type places. It comes in the camo patterns from McNett, and more normal colors from 3M.

Want so incredibly badly. Problem is that $50 for a sheet of stickers is actually very high and I'm worried about how plasticky this makes the grip of a lens, whether you're going to lose friction gripping it as you pull it out of a pouch or are trying to twist it onto the body with slick hands.
